ArtVentures, held the second Sunday of every month, encourage families to play, learn, and create together. Local artists lead workshops that invite families to experiment with ideas sparked by current exhibitions. Kids and adults discover new ways to look, make, and use their imaginations. Each month is a chance to see and do something completely new!
What if we could hold light in our hands? What would we do with it? Experiment with shadows, prisms, and more as we think about the way our eyes see the world. Inspired by James Welling’s photographs and James Turrell’s Light Reign, we’ll create works of art that are illuminating!
