On the occasion of the national For Freedoms 50 State Initiative, the Henry is pleased to gather people invested in thinking through environmental issues in relation to art and civic engagement. We will pull out works from our permanent collection to view in the Eleanor Henry Reed Collection Study Center and use these as catalysts to have an open dialogue about the role art plays broadly and personally into efforts surrounding environmental justice. In relation to upcoming exhibitions and current issues, we are committed to sustaining a conversation around these concerns and seek to gather a group of inter-disciplinary thinkers to identify possibilities for future programs in an art/museum setting. Learn more about the For Freedoms initiative at forfreedoms.org
